Wang Yifan
王逸凡，东南大学副教授、建筑师，王老师于2020年发起了建筑民族志(architectural ethnography)课题组，通过民族志式的参与式观察重新发现被遗忘的资源价值。并在种种缝隙地带探寻介入的可能性。王逸凡分享了有关乡村共有资源与手边之物的故事，以及在这个视角下与她的学生们僖起进行的建造实践，还有她在旅途中发现的那些总能给人带来惊喜的拼凑与建造的即兴。
Wang Yifan, associate professor at Southeast University and architect, initiated the Architectural Ethnography research group in 2020. Through ethnographic and participatory observation, the group seeks to rediscover the value of overlooked resources and explore possibilities for intervention within various marginal and in-between spaces.
In this sharing session, Wang Yifan spoke about stories of collective rural resources and the materials at hand, as well as the building practices she and her students have carried out from this perspective. She also reflected on the improvised acts of assemblage and construction encountered during her travels — moments of making that continually reveal unexpected forms of ingenuity and surprise.
