Tools As Found
Tools As Found 是由 tactac 发起、发生于北京小杜社村与锐驰园区的一次驻地 workshop。项目试图重新回到真实的村庄现场，从村民日常生活中的临时搭建、修补行为与“手边之物”出发，重新思考建筑与建造的关系。通过参与式观察、材料实验与集体建造，workshop 将废弃材料、日常工具与地方性的生活智慧转化为一系列微型公共空间与基础设施原型，探索一种更具适应性、开放性与社会连接性的建造方式。在这里，设计不再只是创造一个完整对象，而更像是在已有环境与关系中进行一次持续的介入与重组。
Tools As Found is a workshop and residency program initiated by tactac in Xiaodushe Village, Beijing, centered on informal construction, repair, and collective making. Beginning from the everyday resources already present within the village — discarded materials, local craftsmanship, temporary structures, and spontaneous acts of building — the workshop explores how architecture can emerge through observation, improvisation, and participation rather than complete control. Through tracing village life, conducting 1:1 material experiments, and building small-scale public interventions together, participants reexamined the relationship between people, tools, materials, and space, while seeking more adaptive and open-ended possibilities for living and building collectively.
